ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ’s Improv Comedy Troupe Holds Auditions

The ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ Theatre Program will hold auditions for the new improvisational comedy troupe called Die Laughing. The group was formed in fall 2013 and hosts performances at ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ and tours high schools to inspire future students to pursue performing arts.
ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ students and members of the public are invited to audition for Die Laughing. No experience is necessary. Auditions are 3-6 p.m., Jan. 12 at ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ Southeast Campus PACE classroom 6103.
Die Laughing performed its first improv comedy show in December at ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ to a sold-out audience. The live audience participation comedy show is filled with sketches and games and features ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ students and members of the public. The next show is 8 p.m., May 5 at ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ Southeast Campus Performing Arts Center for Education (PACE) Studio Theatre.
The improv comedy troupe is under the direction of ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ Theatre Director Mark Frank and his wife, Bethanie Frank. The couple has 19 years of experience with a similar group at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas.
