OpenStax Saves ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ Students Thousands of Dollars in Textbook Costs
An initiative to help ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ students with the cost of textbooks expands this semester to reach an estimated 2,500 students. ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ partnered with OpenStax, a Rice University-based nonprofit publisher, in the summer of 2016 to boost the use of free online and low cost textbooks across ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ courses.

ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ Corrections Education Program Sees Largest Graduation Ceremony
Cody Zimmer is one of 57 individuals at Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy, Oklahoma graduating with a certificate or degree from ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ. The commencement ceremony was held on Thursday, July 20 and was the largest group since the ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ Corrections Education program started in 2007 as a partnership between the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Dick Conner Correctional Center and ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ.

ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ Partners with Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office to Offer New Certificate
ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ is offering a new Corrections Certificate beginning fall 2017 for individuals who work in corrections facilities or prisons. The program is the result of a partnership between ÍøÆØºÚÁÏ and the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office.
